What Is Herbal Medicine?
Herbal medicine is also known as Phytotherapy, Botanical medicine or Plant medicine. Medicine derived from plants is not a new concept; herbs have been used to treat and maintain health for centuries in all parts of the world. In modern London, with its multi-cultural diversity, it makes sense to use a variety of herbs from across the globe to maintain good health in people from all walks of life.
During a consultation, a full case history is taken to establish a detailed picture of past medical history, current symptoms, diet, lifestyle and exercise. An examination will be carried out which usually includes blood pressure, pulse, weight and any other necessary assessment. You may be referred for further tests to establish the root causes of your health concerns.
With your collated case history, Varsha will prepare bespoke herbal remedies for you consisting of tinctures, hand blended herbal teas, creams, oils or other formulations depending on your need.
You will be given expert dietary advice of which foods to avoid and which to include along with recommendations for supplements if Varsha judges them to be an important need in your particular case.
So the whole treatment plan is created especially to suit your individual needs. Why?....because each person and case is unique and Varsha will treat you as such.
Herbal medicine is suitable for people of all ages when used under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
